Briarpointe Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve Novi, MI and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.
We believe in treating every client and patient with respect and compassion. We are a team of highly trained professionals who are devoted to providing our patients with the best possible care.
If you have any questions about how we can care for your pet, please don't hesitate to call us at (248) 449-7447. Thank you!
Telemedicine appointments will be made with current clients only. This means that the pet must have been seen at our clinic within the last 12 months.
This is a consultation call. We cannot diagnose and treat all conditions by a remote visit. Some sick or injured patients will need to be seen in our clinic. For those patients who do need to be seen, a partial credit will be given for the Telemedicine fee.
If appropriate, we will dispense medications for the condition with our curbside service at our clinic. Fees for any medications are in addition to the consultation fee.
The fee for a 20-minute Telemedicine consultation visit is $45.
For patients needing an in-clinic exam or treatment subsequent to a Telemedicine consultation, normal fees will apply. However, a $20 credit will be applied to the in-clinic visit.
Consultations will take place via Skype or Zoom; this will be subject to revision as we determine the best way to provide Telemedicine services.
To our clients:
Due to the human health concerns over the Covid-19 virus, we have made several changes in our operations to help protect our clients and staff. These measures are temporary and hopefully we will be able to resume normal operations when the viral threat has passed.
First, please be patient with your phone calls. We are operating with limited staff and may not be able to get to every call immediately. You can leave a message and we will call you back ASAP or try your call again in five minutes or so.
Second, we are temporarily taking in-clinic appointments only for sick or injured pets, and for booster vaccinations when we have started a vaccine series. This includes puppy or kitten vaccinations and, for example, second boosters of influenza vaccine when we have already given the first. We are suspending well-pet examination, vaccine, non-critical laboratory tests and non-critical surgeries until this crisis passes.
Under the circumstances, we will temporarily fill heartworm, flea/tick prevention and other medications and extend the period of medication monitoring for non-critical patients.
Third, we will be offering remote (Telemedicine) consultations. *Please note that Telemedicine consultations have limitations and are not substitutes for all conditions, especially for sick or injured pets.
Please call our office at 248.449.7447 for details on Telemedicine options
Lastly, please share this information with your neighbors who are clients of ours but might not regularly use email.
While nobody knows how long or how severe this epidemic will disrupt our care for your pets, we will all get through this. Thank you for your support and trust with your veterinary needs.
